Glad they got it sorted out. Internet issues suck, trust me I know.

I was always a sports fan. Born and raised as such. It's in my blood.

Well my mom told me that the washer was still broke, even though my dad and I fixed the problem yesterday. Turns out my dad didn't pay attention when I told him cold was on top and warm on bottom. He switched them so I had to switch them back today. Oh well, all is well now.

yeah internet issues suck---we have had some huge ones in the time we have had internet (like the time the phone company pointed fingers at the dsl company who pointed their finger back at the phone company since they use those lines for that purpose......ultimately had to split the phone line into phone and internet to get it resolved WITHOUT either of them ....nightmares I have had)....(shivers)
have had issues with internet companies going bankrupt, getting too big to care about customers (and thus charging sky high prices)....and this last one--company toooooo small so no one on duty when things usually happen (and that would be late at night or on weekends).

washers and dryers....have had the same one for years--only problem we have is the nobs on the dryer ....one is broken so we had to take the other one which points to a different thing--but heck we know now where it points to get what setting we need. (eg no reason to replace a dryer due to a broken nob).

At least it is a step up from dial up. I remembering thinking dial up was the greatest thing until I used a computer that had cable or DSL internet. Then I was blown away and we just had to get cable internet. And so we did. Love it, and it usually works lol. We just went with Comcast here because they provide our cable TV so it just made sense I guess.

Welp it is Thursday. One day closer to Friday.

when we moved in here the cable company (of whatever its name was then--and has changed hands so many times I just write 'cable co' on the check I pay their bill with) had yet to think about offering internet services....was quite a few years later they were in 'beta testing' and since we have had such bad service from ours, getting internet from them was never even considered.

sinus headache today...cant sleep (yeah havent really gotten any sleep yet, will dose myself up after the mail comes and see if I can get a few hours this afternoon).

Wow, that sucks Cosy. As much as I hate Comcast and their stupid tricks they play to get more money, they do have a decent internet. Even more so now that we have updated our equipment lol

Thursday done, Friday to go before the weekend. Oh the weekend.

hubby just went to bed---had an 'emergency' outage at 4am this morning--took him until almost noon to get it fixed (he had only gone to bed at 1am)...

so I think today is a day of rest! (I just got up a little while ago too---I am in the really tired stage of my virus cycle).

no ideas for dinner, ugh.....dang, I miss being a kid and not having to figure out what to make for dinner every night--it just BEING there at dinner time....guess I am still tired.

I didn't get much sleep... Woke up at like 8am, had a haircut at 10, came home and worked on my resume and stuff, had to rush over to my sisters house with my mom to take my sister to the ER then go back and watch my nephews, then I went and visited my gf. Now I'm home for some sleep...

Well she had some issues earlier that required surgery and they have started to flare up again now. Just real bad pain which is going to lead to another surgery pretty soon that should take care of everything. But ya, she is doing alright now. Thanks for asking guys.

Warmer temps are here. Was 40 yesterday and is supposed to be 45 today (36 atm). A big step up from the -18 degree temps from this past week.
